My Role

          On Jack-Assassin, I was the artist and animator, as well as created the designs of the levels with my partner on the project.

          For the level design on Jack-Assassin we implemented multiple routes players could take throughout each level. This gives the player more choice while playing, as well as adding to the replay value of the game.

          When designing the characters and environments, we decided that a cartoon style would be fitting with the humor and genre of the game. I used a lot of rich, vivid, colors, whilst avoiding ones that would cause all the characters to blend into the background.


Objective in Jack-Assassin

          Jack-Assassin is a 2D platform shooter game where the player is, Jack, an anthropomorphic donkey assassin trying to free the people from the dreaded "Sheep King."

          He must battle through three danger filled stages using only his hooves of steel and lucky pistol. Along his journey he will encounter dozens of "Baaaadies," and his mentor Sensei Gary who will give him advice as he goes.

          Finally, Jack will enter the "Sheep King's" lair and a shoot out will take place where only one of them will come out alive.
